Meet Kiara

Welcome to my domain.

I am an interdisciplinary artist born in raised in New York.

I began my creative journey designing Myspace layouts and digital characters in middle school. This early engagement with digital self-expression gradually transformed into an exploration of visual storytelling, guiding me toward graphic design, 3D modeling, and fabrication. I got my first graphic design job at Blend Smoothie and Salad Bar, where I solidified aspirations to further my education in art. Since transferring to SUNY New Paltz from SUNY Orange, I have deepened my understanding of how digital tools can serve not just as instruments of creation but as collaborators in shaping meaning.

I am particularly interested in the fluidity between physical and virtual spaces. My current work challenges traditional boundaries between tangible and intangible, exploring how digital assets can carry personal and physical memory. By manipulating 3D forms, experimenting with mythological concepts, and integrating personal narratives, I aim to create work that feels simultaneously intimate and whimsical; visual echoes of a world that is both deeply personal and exciting.
